County Shield Challenge 2020 is now live!

100 Years of the County Shield

As we reach 100 Years of the County Shield we look back at all the things we have done before which have been fun and challenging for the Guides, including camp skills, outdoor cooking, bake-offs, skills challenges  and many more.

In today’s world the younger generation are so much more involved in technology and social media  and their knowledge of the world around them and the people in it is so much more accessible.

With this in mind, we have come up with this year’s challenge to “Create Their Own Patrol Magazine”.  We hope everyone will offer this to their Guides so that they can explore their creativity, imagination and thirst for adventure, and develop their communication skills in this fun way.

It’s now up to us, the Leaders, to encourage the Guides to join in and have some fun.  I am so looking forward to seeing their ideas!
