Young Youth Leader (if you're aged 14 to 18)
Are you passionate about volunteering and helping girls to reach their potential? Do you want to learn new skills, make friends and give something back to your local community? Would you like to be part of the UK's leading charity for girls and young women?
We are looking for volunteer young youth leaders to help run meetings, events and activities for girls working directly either Rainbows (aged 5 to 7), Brownies (aged 7 to 10) or Guides (aged 10 to 14).
Working with young people and other volunteers helps you develop valuable skills like event planning, leadership and communication. Volunteering is also a brilliant way to meet new people and have fun while making a real contribution to your community.
Volunteering with Girlguiding is more than giving your time - our huge range of training opportunities can make your CV stand out. You could take our Leadership Qualification, become a trained first aider or even earn a qualification in outdoor activities such as climbing and abseiling or canoeing and kayaking.
Register your interest at www.girlguiding.org.uk/interested or call 0800 169 5901
You will be contacted by the local Girlguiding Bedfordshire Commissioner, who will meet with you to discuss the volunteering role with you.
Then you'll get lots of support and enjoy all kinds of adventures with the girls
