Occasional helper for youth group

Helpers are essential to keep groups running. They help Leaders to plan and run meetings. Whether you want to help out weekly or as part of a rota system, you'll be a brilliant source of support for leaders and young girls.

Our volunteers work directly with Rainbows (aged 5 to 7), Brownies (aged 7 to 10) or Guides (aged 10 to 14) or The Senior Section (14 to 25)

Working with young people and other volunteers helps you develop valuable skills like event planning, leadership and communication. Volunteering is also a brilliant way to meet new people and have fun while making a real contribution to your community.

Meetings are normally 1-2 hours long depending on the age group with the earliest start 1700 and the latest finish 2100 and are one night per week generally on a Monday through Friday.

Volunteering is flexible and can be arranged to fit around a busy lifestyle. The role would suit someone who would like to gain experience of volunteering with young people.
