Guide Youth Leader for girls aged 10 to 14 years

We are looking for someone who could give a few hours a week to help run meetings, events and activities. Our Leaders are energetic, enthusiastic and willing to try new activities. If you're looking to work with young people, gain voluntary experience or develop skills from first aid to fundraising, it's time to get involved.

We are looking for volunteer youth leaders to help run meetings, events and activities for girls aged 10 to 14 known as Guides in Flitwick, Clifton, Toddington and Leighton Buzzard

Guides do everything from exciting trips and adventure sports to community action projects and learning skills for life. Plus there are lots of badges to earn.

You'll volunteer alongside a friendly committed team to:

- support girls to plan activities,

- run weekly meetings for girls aged 10 to 14,

- plan and coordinate trips and events,

- carry out a range of basic administration tasks.

You will be contacted by the local Girlguiding Bedfordshire Commissioner, who will meet with you to discuss the volunteering role with you. Then you'll be supported to complete your Leadership Qualification, and Leaders enjoy all kinds of adventures with the girls.
